Hobbes
His name comes from the XVIIth century philosopher Hobbes who hab a deep perception of human nature. The tiger (real or imaginary, it doesn't matter...) is proud to be a tiger with his retractable claws, his fur, his whiskers... and happy not to be a human. He is also less cynical than Calvin.
But he always thinks of eating too :
(from The Essential Calvin and Hobbes)
As a tiger, Hobbes doesn't work... of course...
